Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead NPI process for new product development (NPD)
• Technology transfer of new products from design to mass manufacturing
• Drive manufacturing, material and test readiness at contract manufacturers
• Conduct DFx reviews and process capability analysis to ensure product design and manufacturing processes meet Bloom quality standards
• Structure and maintain new product BOMs
• Develop assembly work instructions and procedures
• Set clear goals and expectations to ensure all stakeholders are aligned
• Implement ECNs and deviations in manufacturing, contract manufacturers and vendors for various commodities
• Work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA & SCM teams on issue resolution

Education & Desired Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering in EEE/ECE
• 10+ years experience in NPI Program Management
• Hands‑on experience in PCBA and box builds is mandatory
• Knowledge of commodities such as PCB, sheet metal, cable harness
• Knowledge of power electronics such as DC‑DC converters and inverters
• Knowledge of manufacturing‑specific roles throughout NPI phases including HW, SW, manufacturing process, testing and reliability
• Knowledge of PLM concepts including BOMs, ECN, deviations
• Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Ability to relate well to a cross‑functional team from manufacturing, supply chain, NPI & engineering
• Ability to work effectively across time zones and support contract manufacturers in different geographies
• Travel: 20%
