Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer - Dry Utility to join our Energy team in India. This role involves executing engineering designs, gathering and correlating data, and providing guidance to junior engineers while working on various impactful projects.

The ideal candidate should hold a B. Tech or Master of Engineering degree and have 5-10 years of experience with international projects in the Middle East, UK, USA, Canada, and other regions. Proficiency in design software is a must.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience on international engineering projects.
• Proven ability to prepare and review engineering designs and calculations.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with minimal supervision.
• Gather and analyze engineering data and correlate results.

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Dry Utility (Infrastructure) to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
• Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:

• B. Tech/Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10 Years exposure to outside India projects preferably Middle East, UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region
• Preparation, Review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump station, Water Treatment Plant, EV charging Station, Substation, Power Transmission & Distribution network
• Design Calculation: Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing & Voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing
• Software: Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP
