Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead Engineer-Dry Utility (Infrastructure) to join the Energy team in India. You will contribute to impactful energy projects across global offices and mentor junior engineers while delivering design elements for electrical and lighting systems.

Hybrid work model is supported; the role requires on-site presence at a Bengaluru office three days per week as part of employment terms.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Master of Engineering in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5–10 years of experience, preferably with Middle East/UK/USA/Canada ANZ exposure.
• Experience in Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump stations, Water Treatment, EV charging, Substations and Power Transmission/Distribution networks.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and tests.
• Proposes approaches to new problems using modifications of standard procedures.
• Identifies discrepancies in results and guides entry level engineers.
• Performs work within budget and schedule with limited supervision.
• Independently completes primary design elements for engineering works.

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer-Dry Utility(Infrastructure)to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignements.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
• Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:

• B. Tech/ Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferablyMiddle East,UK, USA, Canada ANZ region))
• Preparation, Review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump station,Water Treatment Plant, EV charging Station, Substation, Power Transmission Distribution network
• Design Calculation: Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing Voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing
• Software: Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP
