Job summary

AECOM India Global Services Private Limited seeks a Senior Engineer-Dry Utility (Infrastructure) to join our Energy team in India. This role offers opportunities to work on impactful Energy projects across global offices and to grow technical expertise within a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech/Master of Engineering, 5–10 years of experience in electrical infrastructure including EHV–LV, and hands-on design using Dialux, ETAP and related tools.

Qualifications

• B. Tech / Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10 Years of experience (exposure to Middle East, UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region) preferred.
• Preparation, review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump station, Water Treatment Plant, EV charging Station, Substation, Power Transmission & Distribution network.
• Design calculations: Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing & voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing.
• Software: Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP

Responsibilities

• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
• Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
