Job summary

Linxon Chennai is seeking a Senior Engineer to develop and support Windows packaging (Win32, MSI, MSIX) and scripting solutions. You will manage deployment through Microsoft Intune, build automation with PowerShell, and enforce endpoint security and compliance across enterprise devices.

The role requires hands-on work with Autopilot, Azure AD/Entra ID, MDM/MAM, and PSADT integrations, aligned with ITIL incident and change management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7-8 years of experience in Endpoint Management and Modern Workplace technologies.
• Hands-on experience in Windows application packaging and deployment methodologies.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot, Azure AD/Entra ID, device enrollment, and compliance management.
• Experience managing Windows 10 and Windows 11 enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of endpoint security controls, compliance standards, and Microsoft security best practices.
• Experience with ITIL processes, incident management, and change management.
• Certifications preferred: Microsoft Intune Administrator (MD-102), Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, AZ-104, or other relevant Microsoft certifications.

Responsibilities

• Packing the Application (Critical, Medium, Low) and delivering through Microsoft Intune services and other tools.
• Create, test, package, and deploy Windows applications (MSI, EXE, MSIX, Win32 applications).
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Application Deployments integrated with PSADT
• Administer and support Microsoft Intune for Windows endpoint management and device compliance.
• Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications through Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
• Perform application lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, and retirement.
• Create Remediation script for patch compliance, Vulnerability Management.
• Review, analysis, and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities identified through security assessment tools.
• Configure and support Windows Autopilot deployments and provisioning profiles.
• Monitor endpoint health, compliance status, and patching effectiveness across the estate.
• Configure security baselines, compliance policies, conditional access integration, and endpoint protection settings.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in endpoint modernization, security enhancement, and digital workplace transformation initiatives.
• Manage Incident/ Change request aligned with ITIL process.
• Create and maintain weekly/Monthly reports related to your tower.

What will you do

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Engineer to develop and support Windows application packaging (Win32, MSI, PowerShell), Scripting developing knowledge on PowerShell, PSADT, vulnerability remediation, automation scripting and patching enterprise endpoint environments.
