Job summary

Linxon in Chennai, India is seeking an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise Linux environments, virtualization platforms, patching, vulnerability remediation, and Azure services. The role demands strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills in mission-critical settings.

You will administer RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS, perform server upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management while supporting Azure Linux VMs and cloud migration efforts.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Linux Administration experience.
• Strong expertise in RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.
• Experience with Nutanix AHV.
• Experience in Linux patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Basic Azure administration experience.
• Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools.
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and ITIL processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Certifications preferred: RHCSA, RHCE, AZ-104, Nutanix NCP.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Manage virtualization environments using Nutanix AHV.

What Will You Do?
