Job summary

Linxon Chennai, India is seeking an experienced Azure / Windows / Nutanix Engineer with 7–8 years of hands-on experience to design, implement and support enterprise infrastructure. You will manage Azure resources, Windows Server environments, and Nutanix HCI, automate with PowerShell and IaC, and help ensure security, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization across a hybrid cloud.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of experience in Windows Server Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Nutanix AHV, or Hyper-V.
• Experience in Windows patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Azure administration experience.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Understanding backup, disaster recovery, and ITIL processes.
• Good troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Infrastructure services.
• Manage Azure Storage Accounts, including Blob Storage, File Shares, Tables, and Queues.
• Configure and administer Azure Files, SMB access, private endpoints, and networking controls.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for Azure File Shares using Azure Backup.
• Manage and assign RBAC for Azure Resources.
• Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Security Center.
• Plan, schedule, and execute patching activities for Windows servers with minimal business impact.
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell, ARM Templates, or Terraform.

What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced Azure / Windows / Nutanix Engineer with 7–8 years of hands‑on experience in managing enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud, Windows Server Administration, Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), virtualization technologies, and automation. The role involves designing, implementing, administering, and supporting highly available and secure IT infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Infrastructure services.
• Support Azure infrastructure services including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, vWAN services.
• Perform server provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Manage Azure Storage Accounts, including Blob Storage, File Shares, Tables, and Queues.
• Configure and administer Azure Files, SMB access, private endpoints, and networking controls.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for Azure File Shares using Azure Backup.
• Implement Azure Backup, Site Recovery (ASR), and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Manage and assign RBAC for Azure Resources.
• Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Security Center.
• Optimize Azure resource utilization and cost management.
• Perform cloud migrations from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Manage Failover Clustering and High Availability solutions.
• Manage Nutanix HCI infrastructure and Prism Central.
• Perform cluster deployment, upgrades, health checks, and capacity planning.
• Administer AHV Hypervisor and virtual machine lifecycle management.
• Configure data protection, replication, snapshots, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor and optimize Nutanix cluster performance.
• Troubleshoot Nutanix hardware and software incidents.
• Administer and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Manage and administer Azure Update Manager (AUM) for patch assessment and deployment across Azure and hybrid servers.
• Plan, schedule, and execute patching activities for Windows servers with minimal business impact.
• Monitor patch compliance and generate update reports.
• Troubleshoot update deployment failures and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Ensure adherence to organizational security and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices.

Qualification

• 7–8 years of experience in Windows Server Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware, Nutanix AHV, or Hyper‑V.
• Experience in Windows patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Azure administration experience.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Understanding backup, disaster recovery, and ITIL processes.
• Good troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications preferred: AZ‑104, Nutanix NCP, Microsoft Windows Server Certifications.
