Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess and document replacement solutions for electronic component changes, discontinuations, and technical issues in accordance with LED (Liebherr Electronics and Drives) Standards.
- Review and evaluate Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End of Life (EOL) notifications to determine the impact on products and whether detailed investigation is required.
- Identify affected components and allocate them to relevant projects, ensuring accurate traceability within the LED component database.
- Create or modify components based on requirements from design and procurement.
- Conduct component searches and recommend suitable parts based on engineering specifications, project requirements, and manufacturer datasheets.
- Maintain and update component data, records, and documentation within the company systems.
- Support procurement and engineering teams in resolving faulty part issues and component supply challenges.
- Manage configuration control processes and ensure proper documentation of component changes and related technical information.
- Analyze manufacturer datasheets and technical documentation to support component selection and replacement activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, standards, and training guidelines related to electronic component lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product continuity and minimize risks associated with component obsolescence and change management.
Technical Skills:
- Strong educational background in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electronic components, including their functions, specifications, and applications.
- Knowledge of PLM systems like Windchill, ENOVIA, SAP PLM etc.
- Expertise in analyzing and selecting components using manufacturer datasheets and technical documentation.
- Experience in analog and digital hardware development and maintenance is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of electronics applications within the automotive, industrial, and/or aviation industries.
- Knowledge of component lifecycle management, including PCN, EOL, and obsolescence management processes.
- Proficiency in maintaining and managing component databases and configuration management systems.
- Ability to evaluate technical specifications and identify suitable replacement components.
- Strong technical documentation and data management skills.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication
Experience:
Experience of 8-10 Years in Component Engineering in automotive, industrial, and/or aviation.
Preferred Skills / Special Skills:
- Excellent Verbal and written communication in English.
- Basic knowledge of the German language is an added advantage.
