ZF Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Hardware Development Engineer Design to lead specification, architectural design and validation of automotive electronic circuits. The role requires hands-on development, documentation, and component selection aligned with automotive standards.

You will work with embedded electronics design, power electronics concepts, and interface protocols (CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet). Familiarity with ISO26262 and hardware testing is preferred.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of experience in hardware development engineering.
• Completed engineering studies in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Experience in automotive electronics development, embedded/power electronics design.
• Knowledge of EV powertrain architecture is a plus.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI and Ethernet interfaces.

Job Summary

Your profile as Hardware Development Engineer Design:

• 3-5 Years of experience as a Hardware Development Engineer
• Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical or electronics engineering
• Experience in the development of electronics in the automotive sector under standard aspects. Good knowledge on embedded electronics design and/ or power electronics circuit design
• Having knowledge on Electric vehicle power train architecture is an added advantage
• Good knowledge on microcontroller, power supply design, Analog and digital circuit design, Communication interfaces like CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI and Ethernet.
• Very good knowledge in the use of development tools (EDA software Mentor Graphics, measuring instruments, simulation tools "P-SPICE", etc.)
• Knowledge of functional safety standard ISO26262. Experience in project implementation in the automotive sector
• Business understanding and cost-oriented thinkingindependent, systematic, and analytical way of working
