Job summary

Larsen & Toubro requires a site technician to manage reinforcement cutting, bending and tying for structural elements at a Chennai site. You will interact with engineers, prepare BBS from approved drawings and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely supplies.

Responsibilities include scrap optimization, safety adherence for workers and machines, monthly rebar reconciliation, RFIs, and potential client billing certification. Prior experience on construction sites is preferred.

• Experience with reinforcement steel handling and site execution.
• Ability to coordinate with engineers and internal departments.
• Ensure quality standards at all stages of construction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and safe acts of all workers and machinery.
• Ensure quality at all stages of fabrication and installation.
• Submit monthly steel requirements to the Construction Manager.
• Coordinate between shift engineers.
• Submit RFIs as per systems according to planned activities.
• Coordinate with external departments.
• Rebar reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and certify client bills if applicable.
