Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Coimbatore is seeking a BESS Service Engineer on a fixed-term contract. You will support commissioning, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and corrective maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems, collaborating with PCS, inverters, MV/LV equipment, EMS/SCADA, HVAC and safety systems.

Applicants should hold a BE or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics and have 5–8 years of relevant BESS experience.

Qualifications

• Commissioning and service support for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Perform preventive maintenance and fault diagnostics on BESS components.
• Analyze alarms, logs and system parameters to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with EPCs, OEMs and customers during on-site commissioning and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission BESS equipment and verify battery racks, PCS/inverters and EMS/SCADA connections.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and monitor health parameters.
• Identify faults and guide corrective actions across BESS, HVAC and safety systems.
• Prepare service reports and support warranty claims as required.
