The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a diploma, along with 4-8 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving, technical, and communication skills are required. This is a full-time, mid-senior level position based in Chittoor, India.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) installations.
• Experience with AC/DC interfaces and battery interconnections.

Responsibilities

• Manage BESS installations including panel mounting and cable routing.
• Supervise installation and termination of Power Conversion System (PCS) panels.
• Perform DC cable termination and ensure proper polarity.

Electrical Engineer Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Responsibilities

• Managing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) installations, including panel mounting, cable routing, earthing, and lighting systems
• Supervised installation and termination of PCS (Power Conversion System) panels including AC/DC interfaces.
• Installed and interconnected battery racks/cabinets, maintaining proper polarity and busbar connections.
• Carried out DC cable termination between battery banks and PCS as per schematic layout.
• Supported system energization, configuration, and functional testing of PCS and battery units.
• Ensured adherence to safety protocols, earthing, and insulation checks throughout the installation process.
• Responsible for the AC & DC Cable Trench work.
• Responsible for the PSS & ICR construction work.
• Responsible for the Inverter Installation Work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Diploma with 4‑8 Years experience
• Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
