Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking an experienced ASIC Engineer 3 to join its ASIC Verification team in Hyderabad, India. You will develop advanced verification components and work closely with design teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.

Job description

Position Description

As a technical member of Micron’s ASIC Verification team, you will have a key role in the development of advanced verification components for complex SOC designs, while ensuring on time delivery with best‑in‑class quality. Typical tasks include: development of new simulation environments, execution of verification plans while interfacing with design teams, and debugging complex problems. You must be familiar with constrained random verification and functional coverage closure. Additionally, you will be a self‑starter, possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving/debugging skills, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Requirements

• Expert level experience with either NAND, DDR and PCIe IP/sub‑systems.
• Highly experienced with defining block, sub‑system and SOC top level test plans.
• Expert level with developing UVM-based SV test‑benches.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of verification methodologies, flows and quality metrics.
• Great debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player with great interpersonal communication skills.

Job Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in NAND, DDR and PCIe verification.
• Strong and relevant expertise with ASIC simulation tools and advanced verification methods.
• Expert level in verification languages such as UVM and System Verilog.
• Relevant experience with writing block‑level and SoC test‑plans.
• Education: B.S. in electrical engineering, computer science with extensive industry experience.
