Job summary

You will coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and QA/QC teams, review drawings, monitor progress, and drive cost controls while maintaining zero-harm safety culture. MBA/PGDM in Project Management preferred; 8–16 years experience essential.

Qualifications

• 8–16 years of experience in mechanical construction for large-scale industrial projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Full-Time).
• MBA/PGDM in Project Management preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction and erection activities for project sites.
• Ensure installation of mechanical equipment as per drawings and specs.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and commissioning teams.
• Supervise erection and installation of equipment.
• Review construction methodologies and optimize resources.
• Manage contractor performance and compliance with contracts.
• Track material availability and resolve site issues.
• Promote safety and enforce EHS guidelines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Escalate critical issues affecting timelines.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, procurement teams, and stakeholders for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Project Execution - Lead mechanical construction and erection activities for project sites.
• - Ensure installation of mechanical equipment as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• - Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• - Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and commissioning teams.
• Construction Management - Supervise erection and installation of static and rotary equipment.
• - Review construction methodologies and optimize resource utilization.
• - Manage contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• - Track material availability and resolve site execution issues.
• Quality Management - Ensure compliance with project quality plans and applicable standards.
• - Conduct inspections and monitor equipment installation quality.
• - Coordinate with QA/QC teams for stage-wise inspections and clearances.
• - Review punch points and ensure closure before commissioning.
• Safety & Compliance - Implement and enforce site safety procedures.
