Job summary

Aptiv in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop Autosar-based embedded software for safety products used in global OEM vehicles. This role emphasizes multicore architectures, ASPICE processes, and end-to-end software lifecycle activities.

You will collaborate across teams to implement ISO26262 concepts and realize robust RAM/ROM tests, with opportunities for growth in mobility and connectivity.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in embedded software development
• Hands-on Autosar methodologies and workflows
• Proficient in C for 16/32-bit MCUs
• Experience with automotive standards (ASpice, ISO26262)

Your Role Key Responsibilities

• Develop Autosar based Embedded SW development for Safety products to be used in various global OEM vehicles.
• Define and/or optimize Autosar based SW Architectures in multicore environment
• Autosar based Embedded Software Development for Safety products following ASPICE compliance processes
• Responsible for all SW development life cycle phases
• Requirement Analysis, Design, Coding & Testing/Verification
• Perform AUTOSAR Modeling and System Configuration (SWC Compositions like Component instances, connectors)
• Setup and configure Autosar BSW Modules
• Work with various competencies in developing products
• Analysis and systematic problem solving for SW reported issues
• Experience in realizing ISO26262 Technical Safety Concepts - RAM test, ROM test, Lock step, CPU test, MPU, OS configurations for multicore architectures would be big plus

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in any specialization with an experience of 5 -8 years’ experience
• Should have minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience
• Hands on experience in Autosar methodologies and workflows
• Sound understanding of embedded SW development using C on 16/32 bit microcontrollers
• Experience in at least one of microcontroller architectures: Renesas RH family, Tricore or PowerPC architecture
• Automotive Product Development Process knowledge (ASpice, ISO26262)
• Experience in one or more of Autosar BSW Modules stacks
• Possesses good communication skills
• Com stack (FlexRay, CAN, LIN, Ethernet), Memory Stack Diagnostic Stack, OS, Wdg, Other services
