Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Sr. Electronic Engineer in Pune to enhance and support existing product designs, addressing technical challenges and ensuring compliance with latest standards. You will strengthen reliability and performance through problem-solving, validation, and continuous improvement.

You’ll collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to own product validation, technical support, and design improvements, enabling more innovative and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronics/Electrical engineering with 10–12 years of relevant work.
• Strong ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Proficiency in core engineering tools and technologies.
• Ability to work well as a team player and collaborate across functions.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PMI activities to continuously enhance product performance and reliability.
• Support validation and verification testing including EMI/EMC, thermal, and environmental tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive improvements and cost optimization.
• Use PCB design, circuit architecture, and MCU systems to analyze and optimize designs.
• Learn and apply obsolescence management and new technologies for future-proofing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct product maintenance and improvement (PMI) activities to ensure continuous enhancement of product performance and reliability.
• Support validation and verification testing, including EMI/EMC, thermal, and environmental, to meet compliance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to drive seamless execution of product improvements and cost optimization.
• Use your skills in PCB design, circuit architecture, and microcontroller systems to analyze, optimize, and strengthen electronic designs.
• Continuously learn and apply knowledge in obsolescence management and new technologies to future-proof designs.
• Conductanalysis of analog and digital circuits, performing FMEA, stress, derating, worst-case, and tolerance analysis for robust design.
• Support resolution of functional, application, and production issues while ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
