Job summary

Eaton Technologies Pvt Ltd in Pune is seeking an experienced hardware design engineer to lead the hardware development lifecycle for electronic products, ensuring schedule adherence and cost control. You will design power and signal paths, work with MCU-based solutions, perform simulations, and drive verification, validation and certification testing while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hardware Design - Power Supply, Analog Design, Digital Design, Board bringup and Unit testing.
• Expertise in CAD tools and Simulations tools necessary for Electronics Design
• Hands-on Experience of implementing various MCU based designs with verification and validation testing
• Communicates technical concepts and information to internal staff/peers and stakeholders; strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Analytical and Problem solving skills, Working in ambiguity, process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification and qualification testing.
• Support hardware design for Residential/Commercial Products.
• Design of 8/16/32 bit MCU based solutions.
• Responsible for Hardware design, Functional testing, Qualification Testing.
• Verify design using simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, ModelSim, etc.
• Apply analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers for prototype developments and external labs for testing.
• Lead project planning, risk identification, and cross-functional team interaction.
• Follow PCB design guidelines for SI, high-speed design EMI/EMC.

Job description

What you ll do:

Person will be responsible for Hardware design and development of product to meet project schedule and budget, Provide technical solutions, follow defined processes support in product development technology innovations. He/ She should also contribute on project planning, risk analysis and mitigation plan, project reviews, which are required for executional excellence.

• "- Responsible to execute complete Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification validation, qualification certification testing in Electrical/ Residential applications.
• "- Support design Hardware for Residential/Commercial Products.
• "- Design of 8/16/32 bit microcontroller based solutions.
• "- Responsible for Hardware design, Functional testing, Qualification Testing.
• "- Verify design using simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, Model Sim, etc.

• "- Good knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances - UL /IEC / RoHS / REACH etc.

• "- Knowledge on Project Management wrt Project planning, Risk Identification, Cross functional Team interaction e.g. Marketing, Manufacturing etc.

• "- Follow change management process and release into ENOVIA PLM system.
• "- Collaborate with marketing, CoEs, mechanical, layout, and firmware engineers to successfully validate the designs up to and including certification."

Qualifications:

B.E. (10+6 Years) in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering 3-6 Years of experience in Electronics Design and Development
