Senior Electrical Engineer – Switchgear & Protection
Key Responsibilities
Specifications & Bid Documents
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and schedules for LV/MV/HV Switchgear, GIS/AIS, RMUs, PCC, MCC, ACDB, and DCDB panels
- Define equipment ratings, fault levels, busbar ratings, protection philosophy, interlocking, and communication interfaces
- Prepare Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and vendor comparison sheets
Design Review & Approval
- Review and approve GA drawings, SLDs, protection & metering schematics, control wiring diagrams, interlocking logic, and relay configuration documents
- Verify equipment sizing, protection coordination, arc flash requirements, and utility compliance
Vendor & Project Support
- Evaluate vendor offers, resolve technical deviations, and participate in clarification meetings
- Support procurement and project teams with engineering inputs and technical recommendations

- Software AutoCAD, MS Excel; ETAP/DIgSILENT preferred
