Arlex Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance at our Saykha, Bharuch facility. The role demands hands-on leadership of project execution and close coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in chemical sectors, and must read drawings and supervise site

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in industrial electrical work.
• Experience in chemical, agrochemical, dyes, or specialty chemical industries preferred.
• Must be able to read electrical drawings and supervise site activities independently.
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, MCC/PCC panels, motors and industrial electrical equipment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical installation, execution, commissioning, and maintenance activities at our upcoming chemical and agrochemical manufacturing facility in Saykha, Bharuch.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, practical industrial experience, and the ability to independently manage electrical project activities while coordinating with contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal engineering teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Electrical Project Execution

• Plan, supervise, and execute electrical installation work for the upcoming manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate electrical requirements for reactors, spray dryers, pumps, motors, and other process equipment.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable layouts, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors, vendors, and project consultants.

2. Power Distribution & Electrical Systems

• Oversee installation and commissioning of transformers, HT/LT panels, PCCs, MCCs, VFDs, and distribution systems.
• Supervise cable laying, termination, earthing, and electrical safety systems.
• Ensure proper electrical load management and efficient power distribution.

3. Testing & Commissioning

• Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and process teams during equipment commissioning.
• Ensure readiness of electrical systems before plant start-up.

4. Plant Operations & Maintenance

• Develop preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures.
• Ensure electrical equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and minimum downtime.
• Maintain electrical records, technical documentation, and maintenance schedules.

5. Safety & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Supervise electrical installations in hazardous areas, including appropriate flameproof/explosion-protected equipment.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities for electrical inspections and approvals.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Prior experience in chemical, agrochemical, dyes, specialty chemical, or similar process manufacturing industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical project execution, installation, and commissioning.
• Strong working knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, MCC/PCC panels, motors, and industrial electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and independently supervise site activities.
• Familiarity with electrical safety procedures, statutory compliance, and contractor management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates who have independently handled electrical installation and commissioning of a greenfield or brownfield chemical manufacturing plant will be given preference.

We are looking for a technically sound, hands-on professional who can take ownership of site electrical activities from project execution through plant commissioning and operations.
