Capital Placement in Bharuch, Gujarat, is seeking an Electrical Project Assistant Manager with 8–14 years of AM experience in Chemical/Oil & Gas sectors. You will lead planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination for large-scale electrical projects, including testing, commissioning, and maintenance of 66KV substations and HT/LT equipment.

The role requires NEC/IS standards knowledge, strong drawing interpretation, and a hands-on ownership mindset to ensure projects finish on time,

Qualifications

• 8–14 years of experience as AM in Chemical/Oil & Gas sectors.
• Must know NEC/IS standards (Indian/International).
• Excellent understanding of electrical drawings.
• Experience in testing, commissioning and maintenance of 66KV substations and HT/LT equipment.
• Hands-on ownership mindset across project phases.

Mandatory Requirement
Must have completed Mid/Large scale Projects in Chemical/Oil & Gas.
Must have NEC, IS: Indian/International standards knowledge.
Excellent understanding of Electrical drawings.
Testing , Commissioning, Maintenance of 66KV substation, LT/HT Equipment.
Testing , Commissioning, Maintenance H.T Panel, Transformers, MV Switchboards
(PCC, EPCC, MLDB, MPDB, ELDB, UPSPDB, iMCCs,), Capacitor Control Panel,
Sandwich Busduct, UPS with batteries, Motors, Lighting Transformer, DG sets.
Basic knowledge of -Mechanical, Instrument, Civil,
Must have ownership mindset.
1. Project Planning and Execution:
Responsible for creating project plans, setting timelines, allocating resources,
and ensuring the successful execution of Electrical projects within scope and
budget.
Identify the resources needed for project site execution.
Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
Manage project risks, including mitigation plans
Inspecting vendor sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design
specifications.
Preparing and presenting technical and project reports
2. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
Addressing technical challenges, resolving conflicts, and making critical decisions
to keep projects on track and deliver optimal solutions.
Working with team members and other engineers to implement procedures,
resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
3. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure
seamless coordination and alignment of project objectives.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and team members
Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements, present technical
solutions, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Leadership and Mentorship:
Provide guidance to colleague engineers, oversee project teams, and lead by
example in implementing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence.
Maintain project documentation and prepare reports.
Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and
company quality guidelines.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
5. Process Improvement and Innovation:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for innovation,
and implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance project
efficiency.
6. Quality & Safety Standards
Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and
company quality guidelines.
Should adhere safety measures as a critical aspect of role. Ensure compliance
with safety regulations, conducting PTW, risk assessment, & implementing safety
measures throughout the project Phases.
Ensure project comply with legal and safety standards.
