Job summary

Sofomation Energy is seeking an experienced electrical engineer with 10-12 years of hands-on experience in Green Hydrogen, Ammonia, chemical, fertilizer, petrochemical, refinery, or oil & gas projects. You will lead electrical engineering activities from concept to commissioning and develop design bases, power-system architectures, SLDs, and equipment specs.

You will perform advanced electrical calculations and design HV/MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and UPS/DC

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in Green Hydrogen, Ammonia, Chemical, Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Refinery or Oil & Gas projects, with strong FEED/detailed engineering and power-system design experience.
• Lead electrical engineering activities for Green Hydrogen, Ammonia, Chemical, Fertilizer and Oil & Gas projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop electrical design basis, philosophies, power system architecture, SLDs, load lists and equipment specifications.
• Perform and review electrical calculations including cable sizing, transformer sizing, UPS/battery sizing, voltage drop, load flow, short circuit, motor starting, harmonic analysis and relay coordination.
• Design and review HV, MV and LV distribution systems, substations, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, power cables, bus ducts, UPS and DC systems.
