Job summary

Enventure Engineering in Kochi seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for ESG projects. You will design power, fire alarm, and lighting plans, prepare single-line drawings and panel schedules, and ensure energy compliance and proper load calculations.

Office-based, 2nd shift, with BIM coordination and client interaction. Requires BE/B-Tech in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years’ experience; proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM360 is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design power plan with fixture location to meet code requirements.
• Design fire alarm plan with fixture and device location to meet code requirements.
• Design lighting plan with fixture and control device location to meet code requirements.
• Design single line drawing with proper feeder and breaker sizing.
• Design power for mechanical equipment based on load requirements.
• Perform lighting calculations using Dialux Evo, Visual Lighting or AGI32.
• Perform total building load calculation and panel board schedule creation.
• Perform energy compliance report using COMcheck or Title24.
• Perform short circuit calculation using SKM software.
• Perform voltage drop calculation using SKM.
• Understand & analyze design input (scope).
• Ability to understand client scope & set expectations with team.
• Coordinate with other disciplines via BIM coordination meetings.
• Attend client meetings as needed.
• Provide technical/tool training for team engineers.
• Work on Revit independently and support engineers for Revit needs.
• Lead 3–4 member team as project size requires.
• Escalate issues to Reporting Manager for containment actions.
