Job summary

Aarvee Engineering seeks an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead electrical design for building projects and guide a team of engineers and designers. You will develop concepts, drawings, calculations, and specifications while coordinating with MEP, architectural, and structural teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of HT/LT systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, and protection standards, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Design, preferably in the Buildings sector.
• Experience in leading or managing electrical design teams.
• Strong experience in building electrical systems and design coordination.
• Good knowledge of HT/LT systems, power distribution, lighting, emergency power, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP; knowledge of Navisworks/BIM coordination will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of electrical design calculations, SLDs, load schedules, BOQs, and specifications.
• Good knowledge of NBC, IS, IEC, and relevant electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical BOQs, specifications, tender documents, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, vendors, and internal design teams.
• Conduct internal design reviews for accuracy and quality of design deliverables.
• Identify design issues and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of design deliverables as per project schedules.
• Review BIM/Revit-based electrical designs where applicable.
• Provide technical support during tendering and project development activities.
• Participate in client and design coordination meetings.

Job Summary
