Technovision Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer Automation in Pune near Chikhali.

You will design, develop and implement automation and electrical control solutions for material handling equipment, collaborating with design, production and procurement teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient systems. The role requires experience in PLC-based systems, control panel design, and integration of automation hardware, with attention to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in automation design, control panels, and industrial equipment.
• Experience with RFQ reviews and cost estimation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control panels per project specs.
• Select and integrate PLC, VFD, HMI, Safety devices and sensors.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and ERP documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project success.

About the Role

As a Senior Design Engineer Automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and electrical control solutions for material handling equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective automation systems that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control panels based on project specifications.
• Select and integrate automation hardware including:
  • PLC
  • VFD
  • HMI
  • Safety PLC
  • Safety Relays
  • Sensors
  • Switchgear
  • Circuit Breakers
  • Communication Devices
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and control panel layouts using CAD software.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain engineering documentation in ERP.
• Review RFQs, evaluate technical specifications, and prepare project cost estimates and proposals.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, Sales, Installation teams, vendors, and customers for seamless project execution.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings and provide technical inputs.
• Perform root cause analysis of customer complaints and implement engineering improvements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

• 58 years of experience in Automation Design, Control Panel Design, PLC-based Systems, Material Handling Equipment, or Industrial Automation.
