Job summary
Zoho is seeking an experienced Senior Draughtsman to prepare accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings for water and wastewater treatment projects. You will work with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Architects, and Site Teams to develop, modify, review, and coordinate technical drawings.
The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of drafting experience in civil, mechanical, or MEP projects, with strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of SolidWorks or Revit. Prior exposure to WTP/STP/ETP plants is a plus.

- Proficient in producing 2D/3D CAD drawings and related documentation.
- Experience with WTP/STP/ETP, desalination, and pumping stations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for WTP, STP, ETP, RO and pumping stations.
- Create GA drawings, layouts, sections, P&IDs and related drawings.
- Develop civil, mechanical, and process drawings and convert concepts to CAD drawings.
- Coordinate with design engineers, project teams, and site personnel to resolve issues.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and support tender/drawing needs.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Draughtsman who can prepare accurate 2D and 3D engineering drawings for water and wastewater treatment projects.
The candidate will work closely with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Architects, and Site Teams to prepare, modify, review, and coordinate technical drawings.
Prepare detailed drawings for WTP, STP, ETP, RO, desalination plants, and pumping stations .
Prepare GA drawings, layouts, sections, hydraulic profiles, P&IDs, and other engineering drawings .
Prepare civil, mechanical, and process-related drawings as required.
Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed CAD drawings.
Prepare drawings based on Design Basis Reports (DBR), technical notes, BOQs, and engineering inputs .
Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software.
Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings .
Modify and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, and site teams.
Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
Support preparation of tender drawings and bid documents .
Coordinate with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Architects, and Site Teams .
Clarify and resolve drawing-related issues during project execution.
Provide drawing support during construction and commissioning .
Review site requirements and make necessary drawing changes.
Visit project sites when required for design validation and troubleshooting .
Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and meet project requirements.
Follow applicable engineering standards, codes, specifications, and safety requirements .
Complete drawings within agreed project timelines.
Minimize errors and unnecessary drawing revisions.
Support quantity take-offs and material estimations whenever required.
Strong experience in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
Good understanding of engineering and construction drawings .
Experience in preparing WTP / STP / ETP / RO / Desalination / Pumping Station drawings .
Good understanding of process engineering and basic hydraulics .
Ability to read and understand P&IDs, GA drawings, layouts, sections, BOQs, and technical specifications .
Knowledge of civil, mechanical, process, or MEP-related drawings.
Good attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
Ability to understand engineering requirements and convert them into clear technical drawings.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work within project deadlines.
Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:

ITI / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture , or a related discipline.
AutoCAD or other CAD certification/training will be an added advantage.
8–10 years of relevant drafting experience , preferably in water treatment, wastewater, infrastructure, MEP, civil, or engineering projects.
Strong experience in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
Good understanding of engineering and construction drawings .
Experience in preparing WTP / STP / ETP / RO / Desalination / Pumping Station drawings .
Good understanding of process engineering and basic hydraulics .
