Job summary

Altera is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Physical Design to lead the physical design strategy and execution for next-generation semiconductor products in India. You will mentor a high-performing team across multiple product lines and drive innovative methodologies to optimize PPA.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in physical design, 10+ years in leadership, and a proven track record delivering silicon on schedule.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in physical design of complex semiconductor products.
• 10+ years in management and team leadership roles.
• Expertise in placement, routing, physical verification, and signoff at 7nm and below.
• Strong knowledge of design automation tools and methodologies.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality silicon on schedule and within power budgets; experience managing large distributed teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.

• Leadership experience in geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones
