Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. is seeking a senior DevOps/Cloud engineer to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code in a fast-moving, global environment.

You will integrate security, testing, and deployment tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and optimize operations. The role requires 10–12 years of hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, plus strong scripting (C#, Python, Shell) and a

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA / MSc degree or equivalent in engineering or CS.
• 10–12 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Proficiency deploying and securing container-based systems such as Docker and Kubernetes on private/public clouds.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (C#, Python, Shell).
• Proficiency with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Strong understanding of large-scale distributed systems, Linux, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with agile methods and phase models.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop & implement CI workflows and DevOps framework.
• Integrate AppSec tools and workflows with the DevOps framework.
• Integrate testing tools and continuous testing with the DevOps framework and process.
• Plan, design and develop infrastructure/provisioning frameworks (IaC/PaC).
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to automate workflows and processes.
• Plan, design, implement and test deployment strategies.
• Plan and execute application operations in customer-like environments.
• Develop automated deployment solutions for production/testing environments.
• Evaluate and integrate tools for monitoring, tracing and diagnosing applications.
• Provide technical recommendations on product and system specifications.
• Assist test automation with infrastructure solutions.
• Assist in cross-infrastructure container orchestration development.
• Assist in backward compatibility and rollback strategy design.
• Guide teams on container deployment, testing and management best practices.
• Provide operations support to team members.

• Assist in designing backward compatibility and roll back strategy


• Guide and train teams on best practices regarding container deployment, testing and management


• Provide operations support to team members.

What You Need to Succeed

Your profile

• Qualification: BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech / M.C.A., / M.Sc


• You must have experience of 10 to 12 years


• Proficiency in deploying and securing container-based systems such as Docker, Kubernetes on private and public clouds


• Experience in programming languages and/or scripting languages, e.g. C#, Python, Shell


• Proficiency with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (preferably in Azure DevOps)


• Good understanding of large-scale distributed systems


• Knowledge of operating systems, especially Linux, general networking, cloud infrastructure, system monitoring, and operating CI/CD pipelines


• Familiarity with phase models and agile methods


• Fluent in English (oral and written)
