Mettler-Toledo International, Inc is seeking a senior QA Architect in India to lead global test automation across desktop, devices, embedded systems, and APIs. You will architect frameworks, drive tool selection, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

The role requires 12+ years in software quality engineering with 5+ years in leadership, strong C#/.NET or Python skills, and experience with modern testing frameworks and cloud testing grids.

Competenze

• 12+ years in software quality engineering, with at least 5+ years in architectural or lead capacity.
• BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech or equivalent in engineering.
• Expert-level C#/.NET or Python.
• Hands-on mastery of 2 modern testing frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and API testing with Postman.
• Deep experience with CI/CD tools and cloud-based testing grids (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps; Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes; understanding of microservices, databases (SQL/NoSQL) and design patterns.
• Excellent communication; ability to influence senior leadership and lead cross-functional teams.

• Strategy & Vision: Define, evolve, and execute the global test automation strategy across desktop, devices and embedded systems, API platforms and web applications.
• Framework Architecture: Architect, build, and maintain scalable, reusable, and modular test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Tool Evaluation: Research, prototype, and select cutting-edge testing tools, libraries, and infrastructure to optimize the testing lifecycle.
• CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly embed automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to achieve true continuous testing.
• Non-Functional Testing: Establish blueprints and strategies for performance, load, security, and reliability (chaos) testing.
• Technical Leadership: Set coding standards, conduct code reviews for test scripts, and mentor QA engineers to elevate the overall technical capability of the team.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, DevOps Engineers, and Development Leads to identify testing gaps and align QA goals with business objectives.

What You Need to Succeed

• Education: BE / B.Tech / M.E / M. Tech
• Experience: Minimum of 12+ years in software quality engineering, with at least 5+ years specifically in architectural or lead capacity.
• Coding Mastery: Expert-level proficiency C#/.NET technologies or Python.
• Automation Ecosystems: Hands-on mastery of any 2 modern testing frameworks [like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium] and API testing utilities [like Postman].
• DevOps Infrastructure: Deep experience with CI/CD tools [e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps] and cloud-based testing grids [e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack].
• Containerization & Cloud: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud computing environments.
• Architecture Mindset: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, database systems (SQL/NoSQL), and design patterns.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of influencing senior leadership and guiding cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing AI/ML-driven testing tools or self‑healing test automation.
• Relevant certifications [e.g., ISTQB Advanced/Expert Level, AWS Certified Solutions Architect].
