Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure and delivery ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with R&D, QA, Security, and Operations to ensure scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient platforms.

You will focus on AWS, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containers, monitoring, and continuous improvement, helping drive cloud security and DevOps best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS including EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, ALB, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will manage and enhance the cloud infrastructure and software delivery ecosystem powering our products. You will work with R&D, QA, Security, and Operations teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient.

You will focus on AWS, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containers, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

How will you make an impact?

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability, security, reliability, and cost.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, Docker, ECS/EKS, and scripting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot environments to ensure availability and performance.
• Drive cloud security, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, Security, and Operations teams.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve troubleshooting, RCA, and operational efficiency.

Have you got what it takes?

• 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, ALB, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Shell/PowerShell and at least one programming language such as Python, Groovy, Java, JavaScript, or Go. Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, cloud security, and Git-based workflows.

Strong Problem-solving Skills And Experience Working In Agile Environments.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with AWS RDS and database infrastructure.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Software development experience.
• Experience with multi-region or multi-tenant SaaS environments.

• Experience using AI tools/agents such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or Cursor for automation and RCA.
