DHL IT Services India is expanding its Store Solutions team in India. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong .NET MAUI mobile development skills to build an Android-based application for DHL retail stores, and to contribute to cross‑platform initiatives including future Azure cloud workloads.

You will join a global, hybrid team and work on end-to-end product development, from design to rollout and maintenance, while mentoring peers and growing toward technical leadership.

At IT Services, we are passionate about software development. Our Store Solutions organization is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on mobile application development to strengthen our existing team in India.

We work in an agile, product-oriented environment. The whole team shares responsibility for sprint outcomes, product quality, and continuous improvement. We are expanding our existing team in India. You will contribute to the development of an Android-based mobile application built with .NET MAUI that enables DHL retail stores to sell products and postal services.

DHL also operates an established Windows desktop application based on .NET MAUI. Our long-term goal is to create a service-based, cross-platform application that can run on both mobile and desktop devices and is prepared for the future use of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.

We are looking for an experienced senior developer with strong software engineering expertise and proven hands‑on experience with .NET MAUI. You will further develop our mobile application, contribute to the cross‑platform foundation of the future product, and provide technical guidance to the team. The role offers the opportunity to grow into a technical leadership position in the medium term.

You will join the UI/UX team, which is responsible for implementing business functionality and user‑facing features in the mobile application

Your responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
• Design and develop new business features and user interfaces for the mobile application using .NET MAUI.
• Create solution designs for new components and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Develop prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to support technical and architectural decision‑making.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, including unit tests and automated system tests.
• Review code, refactor existing components, and promote clean‑code practices.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity and quality.
• Share technical knowledge, mentor colleagues, and gradually take on greater technical leadership responsibility within the team.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and cross‑team alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, development processes, and the team’s use of AI tools.
• Share responsibility for sprint outcomes, product quality, production support, and the ongoing maintenance of the software.

What we expect from you

• At least five years of professional experience developing production‑grade mobile applications, preferably for Android.
• Proven hands‑on experience with C#, .NET, and .NET MAUI in production environments, including modern mobile UI development. Practical .NET MAUI experience is mandatory.
• A strong software engineering background, including system design, clean code, refactoring, automated testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with Git and Visual Studio.
• A strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate them into technical solutions.
• An analytical mindset and a structured, solution‑oriented way of working.
• Experience working in an agile environment, ideally with Scrum.
• Strong communication, documentation, knowledge‑sharing, and mentoring skills.
• The potential and ambition to grow into a technical leadership role in the medium term.
