Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of data architectures, data warehouses, and BI solutions. You will oversee Snowflake transformations, integrate Salesforce/CPQ data, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision making.

This role requires 10+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture and a strong BI tools background (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Computing).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• Proven expertise with Snowflake and data transformation in Snowflake.
• Strong background in Data Warehouse and BI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data architecture and solutions.
• Oversee, develop and manage data transformation processes within Snowflake to ensure data integrity, quality, and performance.
• Design and optimize Data Warehouse (DWH) and BI architectures to support analytics and reporting.
• Work with Salesforce & CPQ data and architecture for accurate reporting and reconciliation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data models.
• Implement and maintain best practices for data management, governance, and security.
• Implement BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Computing to enhance reporting capabilities.

• Well versed with Salesforce & CPQ data and architecture. Understands financial bookings and revenue reports in Salesforce and DWH, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and data models.
• Implement and maintain best practices for data management, data governance, and data security.
• Implementation of BI tools, like Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Computing, and others, to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture, data transformation, and BI tools.

Mandatory skill sets:

Solution Architect, Snowflake, Data warehousing, BI Tools Experience, Data Migration on or from snowflake

Preferred skill sets:

Snowflake Years of experience required: 5 to 10 years

Education qualification:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field.

Proven expertise in Snowflake and data transformation processes within Snowflake.

Strong background in Data Warehouse (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI) architecture.

Experience with Salesforce & CPQ data and architecture.

Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Sigma Computing, and others.

In-depth understanding of financial bookings and revenue reports in Salesforce and DWH.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of technical professionals.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
