Job summary

PwC in India is seeking a Manager-level Data Engineer to design and build robust data infrastructure, focusing on Snowflake, AWS, and Python to enable scalable data processing.

You will collaborate with analysts and architects to develop ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and governance, leveraging Snowflake, Airflow, and DBT within a cloud-first environment.

5–8 years of experience and relevant BE/MBA degrees preferred; this role offers growth, mentorship, and a dynamic Advisory practice.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, data modeling and Python for data transformation.
Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions) and Snowflake data pipelines.
Familiarity with DBT, Airflow, and CI/CD tooling for orchestration and deployment.

Responsibilities

Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS.
Design and optimize Snowflake data pipelines and data models.
Implement and maintain DBT workflows for data transformation and modeling.
Write efficient SQL for data extraction and reporting.
Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs.
Orchestrate workflows with Airflow or similar tools.
Ensure data quality, governance, and scalable performance.

We are seeking experienced and passionate Snowflake Data Engineers to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Data Modelling, AWS - Glue, Lambda, Step Functions and Python, along with exposure to modern data orchestration and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS.
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and data models in Snowflake.
Implement and maintain DBT workflows for data transformation and modeling.
Write efficient and scalable SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Integrate data from various sources using Python.
Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow or similar tools.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across the pipeline.
Work with CI/CD tools to automate deployment and testing of data workflows.
Optimize performance and cost of Snowflake workloads.
Leverage cloud services from AWS for scalable data solutions.
