PwC in India is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join the Advisory data, analytics & AI team in Gurugram. You will design and build data pipelines, optimize Snowflake workloads, and collaborate with analysts to translate business needs into scalable data solutions using SQL, Python and AWS services.

Qualificações

5–8 years of relevant data engineering experience.
Strong Snowflake, SQL and data modelling skills.
Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions and Python.
Exposure to DBT and Airflow is preferred.

Responsabilidades

Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue and Lambda.
Design, develop and optimize data pipelines and models in Snowflake.
Implement DBT workflows for data transformation and modelling.
Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs.
Orchestrate workflows using Airflow or similar tools.
Ensure data quality, governance, and cost optimization.
Work with CI/CD to automate deployment and testing of data workflows.

Job Description & Summary

We are seeking experienced and passionate Snowflake Data Engineers to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Data Modelling, AWS - Glue, Lambda, Step Functions and Python, along with exposure to modern data orchestration and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS.
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and data models in Snowflake.
Implement and maintain DBT workflows for data transformation and modeling.
Write efficient and scalable SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Integrate data from various sources using Python.
Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow or similar tools.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across the pipeline.
Work with CI/CD tools to automate deployment and testing of data workflows.
Optimize performance and cost of Snowflake workloads.
Leverage cloud services from AWS for scalable data solutions.
