Job summary

Empower Global Business Services India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer to build and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party systems. You will handle the full lifecycle from discovery through production, ensuring reliable, scalable integrations.

You will gather requirements, design solutions, implement integrations using EIB/Core Connectors/Studio, test and deploy, while collaborating with Workday Community and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant field such as IT, finance or business management.
• Minimum 6 years of Workday integrations experience incl. EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio.
• Strong knowledge of Workday objects, processes, web services and reporting.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, Workday Web Services (WWS) and RAAS required.
• Proficiency in SOAP/REST web services and ability to handle production support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor integration runs and ensure successful completion.

The Senior Workday Integration Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrations between Workday and third-party systems. The development process includes the full implementation life cycle from initial discovery and design, to development and through to production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Gather and analyze requirements and provide technical advice, hands-on development and best practices concerning Workday integration development and implementation
• Provide solution and integration development with Workday including requirements, technical specs, design, custom development, integration testing, UAT and deployment
• Monitor and ensure successful completion of integration runs
• New integration implementations
• Internal Workday Service & Support
• Enhance existing integrations to support changes in business
• Collaborate with Workday Community and the Area User groups to resolve issues found within Workday and to proactively remain informed about Workday enhancements
• Keep up-to-date and provide feedback on feature designs, product roadmap and development progress of Workday HCM product areas of expertise

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in Business Management, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of Workday Integrations including Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Studio or equivalent work experience
• In-depth knowledge of Workday business objects, Workday Business Processes, Workday Web Services, and BIRT Reporting.
• Experienced in XML, XSLT, WWS (Workday Web Services), RAAS
• Extensive techno/functional knowledge of 3+ modules in the Workday HCM product suite (HCM Core, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning, Reporting Solid understanding of Workday security model including integration users and groups Proficiency in SOAP and REST-based web services Experience handling production support issues, minor and major defects/enhancements Excellent communication skills Must be able to exercise discretion and judgment with little to no supervision in carrying out daily tasks. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. Must be highly organized to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
