Job summary

Nutanix is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, test, and support integrations, reports and Extend applications. You will partner with internal customers to capture requirements and deliver robust Workday solutions.

The role involves building REST/SOAP integrations, performing tests, and maintaining documentation. You will work in a collaborative team spread across the US and India, contributing to secure, scalable Workday deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and developing Workday integrations using Core Connectors, PECI, EIBs, and Studio.
• Experience with Workday technologies such as BIRT, RaaS, Security, and XML/XLST.
• Hands-on Workday Extend development experience.
• Experience in full lifecycle deployment of Workday integrations.

The Opportunity

The Workday Technical Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting all Workday Integrations, Reports and Extend Applications. Partner with internal customers to understand business requirements and build the Workday solution

About the Team

The successful candidate will join the Workday Integration Team, a collaborative and supportive team based in the United States and India. The team is responsible for integrating Workday with various internal systems and external vendors, focusing on delivering effective integration solutions to enhance organizational efficiency. Team culture is built on mutual support, emphasizing teamwork and ongoing collaboration on projects, which is critical for achieving the team's mission at Nutanix.

You will report to the Sr. Manager Workday Integration, who fosters a team-oriented environment where the importance of following security policies and practices is highlighted.

Your Role

• Build, Maintain and Support existing and new external and internal Workday integrations using Workday tools: Cloud Connector, EIB, Workday Studio, Document Transforms, BIRT and Reports.
• Develop REST/SOAP-based integrations using Workday public APIs and external APIs.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing of Workday integrations.
• Design, build, test, deploy and maintain custom applications using Workday Extend.
• Assist in the diagnosis, mitigation, and resolution of production issues.
• Contribute to the development of test plans and scripts to ensure they capture business and functional requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for each integration (flow diagrams, specs, error handling).
• Analyze future Workday releases to understand the impact and capabilities of new features, specifically within existing Workday configuration.
• Ensure integrations meet data security, compliance, and audit standards.
• Package, migrate, and deploy integrations across Non-Production environments using Workday migration tools.
• Liaise with users to ensure deliverables are meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Participate in Workday Community, training programs, and internal knowledge sharing sessions.

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing integration solutions using the Workday Integration Tool Kit - Core Connectors, PECI, EIBs, Document Transforms, and Workday Studio.
• Experience with Workday technologies – BIRT, Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS), Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XML/XLST, Web Services, etc.
• Understands Workday security domains and how to maintain security on Business Processes; Maintain and assign security roles for Workday users.
• Hands-on Workday Extend development experience.
• Experience in Workday full life cycle deployments including translation of functional requirements, technical specifications documentation, development, testing, and implementation.
• Experience in Middleware integrations with Workday configuration will be preferred.
• Workday Integrations and Extend Certification is preferred.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
