TechnipFMC plc in Hyderabad is seeking a mechanical design engineer to lead production of design and fabrication plans and installation sketches for SSE projects, ensuring alignment with drawing, design, and manufacturing standards, schedules and man hours.

You will supervise design work, identify risks, and work on complex assignments as a skilled designer, bringing 5–7 years of 3D modeling and drafting experience and strong English communication to a diverse team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5–7 years in 3D modeling, drafting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools.
• Good project management and leadership abilities.

Job Purpose

Leads the production of design/fabrication plans and/or installation sketches/animation within SSE's standard projects and/or operations, in accordance with drawing, design, manufacturing standards and processes, schedule and man hours, with a permanent concern for quality standards and targets.

• Ensures that all design deliverables are in accordance with client’s requirements, the project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC processes as well as drawing standards.
• Supervises, adjusts, and consolidates the design work within projects.
• Contributes to identifying risks associated with design activities.
• Directly works on complex design assignments or related activities as a skilled designer

You Are Meant For This Job If

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
• 5 to 7 years of experience in 3D Modeling, drafting or related field as a minimum
• Strong knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools
• Project management skills
• Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to supervise diverse cultural team
• Ability to transfer expertise and persuade
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
