Job summary

Latinem seeks a Senior Design Technology Specialist to drive adoption and continuous improvement of design technologies across Architecture, Structure, MEP, Interiors, Landscape and Faade. You will support digital transformation with research, standards development, automation, training, and technology deployment to improve project delivery efficiency and quality.

You will lead technology adoption, develop BIM standards, and collaborate with IT, vendors and project teams to deploy and optimise

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BIM, Design Technology or Digital Engineering in AEC.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit, ACC/BIM 360, Navisworks, Dynamo.
• Experience with workflow automation, data management and digital delivery.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and support of design technology solutions across disciplines.
• Research and pilot emerging technologies, AI tools, BIM workflows and digital platforms.
• Develop and maintain BIM, CAD, computational design standards and templates.
• Support automation using Dynamo, Revit API, Python, and Power Automate.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for design technology workflows.

Role Summary

The Senior Design Technology Specialist is responsible for driving the adoption, implementation, and continuous improvement of design technologies across Architecture, Structure, MEP, Interiors, Landscape, and Faade disciplines. The role supports digital transformation initiatives through research, standards development, automation, training, and technology deployment to improve project delivery efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and support of design technology solutions across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Research, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies, AI tools, BIM workflows, and digital delivery platforms.
• Develop and maintain BIM, CAD, computational design, and digital delivery standards, templates, and best practices.
• Support automation initiatives using tools such as Dynamo, Revit API, Python, Power Automate, and related technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for project teams on design technology applications and workflows.
• Deliver training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to improve digital capability across the organisation.
• Collaborate with IT, consultants, software vendors, and internal stakeholders to deploy and optimise technology solutions.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to measure technology adoption and business value.
• Contribute to digital transformation, innovation, and R&D initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
• Support the evaluation, testing, and rollout of new software, plugins, integrations, and enterprise platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in BIM, Design Technology, Digital Engineering, or a related discipline within the AEC industry.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit, ACC/BIM 360, Navisworks, Dynamo, and related design technology platforms.
• Experience in workflow automation, data management, interoperability, and digital project delivery.
• Strong analytical, communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technology adoption, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
