Job summary

Surbana Jurong in India seeks a lead structural design and engineering professional to drive design activities for water and urban infrastructure projects. You will review RCC and steel structures, perform analyses with IS Codes, coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and architectural teams, and provide solutions during construction.

Site visits and ensuring compliance are essential to deliver safe, efficient structures.

Qualifications

• Lead structural design and engineering activities for urban infrastructure projects.
• Review and prepare structural designs for water supply and other urban infrastructure structures.
• Carry out structural analysis and design using relevant IS Codes and project specifications.
• Review design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical submissions prepared by consultants/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and engineering activities for the KPMU project.
• Review and prepare structural designs for water supply and other urban infrastructure structures.
• Design and review RCC and steel structures, including water tanks, reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment plant structures, buildings and other associated structures.
• Carry out structural analysis and design using relevant design software and applicable IS Codes and project specifications.
• Review design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical submissions prepared by consultants/contractors.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural and other design teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Review structural drawings and provide technical inputs during design development and construction stages.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical solutions for structural issues encountered during construction.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
