Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead design and engineering activities for the KPMU project. You will review and prepare structural designs for water supply and other urban infrastructure, including RCC and steel structures, ensuring adherence to IS codes and project specs.

You will collaborate with multiple design teams, review calculations, and provide solutions during construction phases, including site visits to address structural issues and ensure

• Lead structural design and engineering activities for the KPMU project.
• Review and prepare structural designs for water supply and other urban infrastructure structures.
• Design and review RCC and steel structures, including water tanks, reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment plant structures, buildings and other associated structures.
• Carry out structural analysis and design using relevant design software and applicable IS Codes and project specifications.
• Review design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical submissions prepared by consultants/contractors.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural and other design teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Review structural drawings and provide technical inputs during design development and construction stages.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical solutions for structural issues encountered during construction.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
