Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a mechanical design engineer to contribute to New Development and Value Engineering for textile machinery. The role requires knowledge of pneumatic systems, component selection, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D/3D design.

You will prepare GA drawings, layouts for inquiries, and BOMs, while coordinating with other departments to resolve design issues and supporting DCN and ERP workflows.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pneumatic circuits and parts selection.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 2D/3D design.
• Experience with GA drawings, BOM preparation and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GA drawings and proposed inquiry layouts.
• Prepare bills of material (BOM) for projects.
• Handle retrofit/spare parts activity.
• Create 2D & 3D isometric drawings.
• Collaborate with other departments on design issues.

Job description

New Development and Value Engineering Project.

Preparation of G.A. Drawings & proposed inquiry layouts.

Preparation of Bills of material (BOM)

Experience of design related work with ERP Systems.

DCN - Drawing change Note.

Retrofit / Spare order activity.

Preparation of 2D & 3D Isometric Drawings.
