Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a mechanical design engineer for New Development and Value Engineering projects in Gujarat. The role requires knowledge of pneumatic circuits, 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and BOM preparation for textile machinery.

The candidate will prepare GA drawings, inquiry layouts, and handle DCNs, retrofit/spare orders, and ERP-related design tasks while collaborating across departments to resolve design issues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pneumatic circuit and part selection.
• Experience in 2D/3D CAD drafting using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Preparation of GA drawings and proposed inquiry layouts.
• Preparation of BOMs for projects.
• Experience with ERP systems in design-related work.
• DCN - drawing change notes handling.
• Retrofit/spare order activity management.
• Preparation of 2D & 3D isometric drawings.
• Collaborates with other departments on design issues.
• Textile machine design exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product designs and value engineering for textile machinery.
