Job summary

Enerparc Energy is seeking a skilled Solar Project Engineer to lead detailed engineering for Ground, Roof, and Carport mounted solar systems. You will develop PV layouts, BOMs, SLDs, and PVSyst reports, coordinating with BD teams and customers to ensure optimal system designs.

The role requires 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in design and engineering within the solar industry and strong proficiency in PVSyst, PVSol, AutoCAD, Helioscope, and related tools.

Qualifications

• BE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with detailed engineering for solar PV projects preferred.
• Strong familiarity with PV layout, BOM, SLDs and PVSyst reports is required.

Responsibilities

• Single point responsibility for project engineering during detailed engineering phase for Ground / Roof/Carport mounted solar systems, including PV layouts, BOM, SLDs and PVSyst reports.
• Prepare optimum BOQ and cost estimation for the overall solar PV system to support BD team.
• Coordinate with internal standards/BD team/external customers to obtain inputs for designing optimum solar systems and attend customer meetings when needed.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of documents as per Tender/BD requirements.

The role is to be responsible for conducting detailed Site Survey, preparation of Detailed BOM for overall SPV System, preparation of PV Layout, SLD, PVSyst Simulation, Vendor interactions, Optimum Cost Estimation, etc., Also, candidates with detailed engineering experiences will be highly preferred.

Description Of The Roles And Responsibilities

• Single point responsibility for project engineering during detailed engineering phase for Ground / Roof/Carport mounted solar systems by doing Detailed system design conceptualization, arriving at optimum generation data, preparing PV Layouts, Bill of material and SLDs, PVSyst Report[Yield Assessment], Technical assessment of RFP/Tender documents as a part of submission to customer in coordination with BD Team.
• Responsible for Optimum BOQ with Cost Estimation of overall Solar PV System to support BD Team.
• Responsible for obtaining necessary inputs from internal standards/BD team / external customers for designing optimum solar system and attending customer meetings as and when necessary.
• Responsible for on time preparation and submission of required documents as per Tender/BD requirements.

• Expertise in Running PVSYST, PVSol Software Tools,
• Active Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Google SketchUp, Solar Labs[Arka 360], Helioscope, PV Case
• Expertise in MS office package
• Should have bird’s eye view on entire solar system including detailed Site Survey, Solar Products Cost Estimation, state wise solar Policy, Electrical basics, civil and structural elements of solar system.
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – English and Hindi

Job Dimensions

Education : BE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience : 4 to 5 years of total work experience in Design and Engineering with minimum 2 to 4 years in solar industry experience is mandatory.
