Job summary

Bizacuity Solutions is seeking a Senior DBA and Data Management Lead to oversee the database infrastructure, ensure performance, security, and availability. The role includes leading a team of DBAs, managing on-premises and Azure environments, and coordinating data migration to cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of DBA experience with SQL Server and Azure, strong leadership and client-management skills, and a solid background in data warehousing and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a DBA with a strong focus on SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
• Proven experience in managing and leading database teams.
• Strong understanding of database design, implementation, and optimization.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DBA and Data Management Lead to join our team.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security,and availability.

You will also be the primary point of contactfor clients, buildingand maintaining strong relationships.

Responsibilities :

Database Administration :

• Manage and maintain on-premises and cloud-based (Azure) database environments.
• Design, implement, and optimize database solutions to support business requirements.
• Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
• Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.

Data Management :

• Develop and implement data management strategies and policies.
• Oversee data quality initiatives and ensure data integrity.
• Lead data migration projectsto cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Team Leadership :

• Manage and mentor a team of DBAs.
• Assign tasks,provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and providefeedback.

Client Management :

• Build and maintain strongrelationships with clients.
• Understand clientneeds and providesolutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, both technical and non-technical.
