Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server instances (2012-2022)
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies
• Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery plans
• Set up and maintain high availability solutions (Always On, Log Shipping, Replication)
• Implement and enforce database security policies and access controls
• Automate maintenance tasks using SQL Server Agent and PowerShell
• Troubleshoot database issues including deadlocks, blocking, and slow queries
• Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and support deployments
• Maintain documentation for database architecture, procedures, and policies.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL
• Experience with backup/restore strategies, recovery models, and maintenance plans
