Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Power BI Admin to own the stability and performance of critical production reporting platforms. The role focuses on high availability, reliability, and observability of enterprise reporting built on Power BI, OAS/OBIEE, Informatica, and Oracle Exadata, with evolution to AWS and Snowflake.

You will drive modernization, strengthen controls, and support cloud migration while ensuring flawless production performance for business workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor whose degree in CS or similar
• 5-6 years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering or Production Support
• Hands-on administration experience with Power BI and OAS/OBIEE
• Experience with enterprise reporting platforms in production
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, Airflow and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, resiliency and performance of production reporting apps (Power BI, OAS/OBIEE, Tableau)
• Design and implement monitoring, alerting and observability frameworks
• Lead incident triage, RCA and problem management
• Strengthen platform reliability through automation and capacity planning
• Collaborate with infra and cloud teams to migrate apps to AWS and Snowflake
• Participate in on-call rotations

The Purpose of This Role

Fidelity’s Workplace Investing Data Engineering is seeking a senior data Engineer to lead the stability, resilience, and operational excellence of critically important production reporting applications.

This role is focused on ensuring high availability, reliability, and observability of enterprise reporting platforms built on Power BI, OAS/OBIEE., Informatica, Oracle Exadata and evolving to AWS and Snowflake.

You will play a key role in modernizing reporting systems, strengthening operational controls, improving platform resilience, and supporting cloud migration initiatives, while maintaining flawless production performance for business-critical workloads.

The Expertise You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other discipline
• 5-6 years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering or Production Support

• Hands-on administration experience with Power BI, OAS/OBIEE
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting platforms in production
• Strong Linus/Unix experience
• Extensive experience with Oracle / PL-SQL
• Strong experience with Informatica ETL

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Programming experience in Python, Java or C
