Power BI & Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Power BI & Data Engineer with expertise in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate will build scalable data solutions and interactive dashboards for enterprise analytics, design and optimize data pipelines, develop Power BI dashboards, and ensure high‑quality data availability for business stakeholders.
- Power BI, SQL, Data Engineering, ETL / ELT Pipelines, Python / PySpark, Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue, Data Integration, Data Modeling, DAX, Data Warehousing concepts, cloud platforms (Azure / AWS), large‑scale enterprise datasets, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, semantic models, DAX calculations, KPIs, and data visualizations for Power BI.
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and APIs, perform data transformation and cleansing.
- Work with data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud platforms to ensure high‑quality and reliable data availability for reporting.
- Optimize query performance and dashboard refresh times; implement data quality checks and governance standards; support monitoring and troubleshooting of pipelines and reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analytics teams to gather reporting requirements, convert them into technical solutions, and provide production support, enhancements, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- BI & Reporting: Power BI, DAX, Power Query.
- Programming & Data Engineering: SQL, Python / PySpark, ETL / ELT Pipelines.
- Cloud & Data Platforms: Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue, Azure / AWS Cloud, Data Lakes & Data Warehouses.
- Data Management: Data Modeling, Data Integration, Data Quality & Governance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced enterprise environments.
- Strong ownership and delivery focus.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric / Synapse.
- Exposure to streaming data pipelines, AI/ML reporting datasets, Banking / Financial domain.
