Job summary

Pretium Enterprise Operations India Private Limited (PES India) is seeking an individual contributor data engineer in Bengaluru to develop data products and solutions for the organization.

You will collaborate in Agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement Data, BI & Analytics solutions using Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Informatica, and Fivetran; you will write complex SQL and perform performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of experience in data engineering and data/BI solution development.
• Snowflake Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop data products and solutions for the organization.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement Data, BI & Analytics solutions.
• Work with Cloud Data Warehouse technologies like Snowflake and Redshift.
• Write complex SQL stored procedures and perform performance tuning.
• Migrate data from RDBMS and S3 to Snowflake.
• Ensure data security and privacy in data solutions.
• Experience with AWS and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Python, Pyspark, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and S3.
• Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Looker, Hyperion.
• Experience with ML/AI technologies would be preferred.

Job description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Would be an individual contributor responsible for developing data products & solutions for the organization.

3+ years of overall in IT with experience in Data warehouse, ETL, BI projects is desired.

Would collaborate within Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement Data, BI & Analytics solutions.

Must have experience with development & implementation of Cloud Data Warehouse like Snowflake, Redshift etc.

Must have experience writing complex SQL stored procedures and conducting performance tuning/optimization.

Expertise in Snowflake Data Modelling, ELT using dbt SQL / Snowflake SQL, Informatica, Fivetran.

Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS, S3 to Snowflake cloud data warehouse is needed.

Designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting data solutions maintaining security and data privacy.

Experience in cloud technologies like AWS would be preferred.

Knowledge in Python, Pyspark, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS S3 would be preferred.

Experience working in UNIX/Linux environment.

Experience with ML/AI technologies would be preferred.

Experience with a BI Tools (PowerBI, Looker, Hyperion) would be preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLSETS

• Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering
• 3-7 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data & BI solution development
• Snowflake Certified Professional would be preferred.

NOTES

Prefer candidates already residing in Bangalore.

Standard Shift Timing is 12noon to 9pm, however this may vary depending on the business requirements.
