Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Bengaluru to build and scale modern data platforms enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using dbt, SQL, and AWS services like S3, Redshift, and Airflow, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping data architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, ETL or Data Warehousing.
• Experience delivering scalable enterprise data solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using dbt, SQL, AWS services (S3, Redshift), Airflow.
• Build and optimize complex data transformations and SQL workloads for large-scale datasets.
• Design and implement data models following data warehousing and analytics engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain data solutions leveraging AWS S3, Glue and Redshift.
• Orchestrate and monitor data workflows to ensure reliability, scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts and BI teams to deliver data solutions.
• Establish data quality, governance, monitoring and documentation standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
