Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation or master's degree; CMA preferred.
• 5–8 years post-qualification experience.
• Hands-on budgeting and standard costing experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; SAP B1 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and collect/verify data from departments.
• Control budgeted expenses and tag approvals with approved budgets.
• Calculate costs for materials, inventory, labour, and utilities.
• Forecast expenditures based on past data.
• Reconcile production data with actual output.
• Prepare SKU costing daily/weekly.
• Verify consumption data against the system daily.
• Perform stock verification and SAP movement controls.
• Ensure correct accounting for stock transfers, inventories, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare MIS reports for management.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
• Costing accuracy and variance analysis.
• COGS reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing budget and review data collection and verification from respective departments.
• Budgetary control over approval of expenses and tagging each and every approval with actual budget approved.
• Collection of data to determine costs of business activity such as Raw material Purchase, Inventory, Labour, Electricity etc.
• Forecasting expenditures based on current and previous expenses or other appropriate factors.
• Reconciliation of Production data with actual production on daily basis.
• Preparation of SKU Costing on daily/weekly basis.
• Verification of Actual consumption data with System on daily basis.
• Connect with the Plant team and resolve the Variances in Consumption.
• Physical stock Verification on periodic basis.
• Verify and Control over the movement of Inventory in SAP.
• Ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of all transactions including stock transfer, Inventories and Intercompany transactions.
• Sound knowledge of costing, cost center, variable cost, fixed cost, etc.
• Comparing Standard with actual outcome and variance analysis.
• Verify and Control over the expenses booked in SAP.
• Prepare MIS as required by the management.
• Assist in Month end and Year end closing activities.
• Accuracy in Product Costing.
• MIS Reporting.

• Accounting and Taxation Experience.
• Analytical skills required to compare the data and present to Management.

Qualifications

• AGE: 30-37
• QUALIFICATIONS BASIC: Graduation / Masters
• Professional: CMA (Preferred)
• EXPERIENCE: 5 to 8 years of Post qualification experience

Required Skills

• Hands on Experience of Budgeting & Standard Costing is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft® applications, especially Excel.
• Result oriented approach, problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of SAP B1 would be an added advantage.
