Job summary

MERINO INDUSTRIES LIMITED is seeking a qualified ICWA to lead costing, variance analysis, and inventory control across manufacturing units. The candidate will manage standard costs, cost sheets, BOM updates, and support new product costings.

The role requires strong SAP CO knowledge, MS Excel mastery, and BI tool proficiency, with 5+ years in a manufacturing cost environment. Delhi/NCR location with on-site work.

Qualifications

• ICWA with 5+ years in product costing or plant finance.
• Experience in Building Materials, Laminates, plywood, MDF, paints or chemicals preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP CO module and cost accounting standards.
• Expert in MS Excel and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain standard costs for products, grades, and SKUs.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1.Product Costing

• Prepare and maintain standard costs for products, grades, and SKUs.
• Build cost sheets covering material, conversion, overhead, and packing cost.
• Update costs for changes in input prices, BOM, and routing.
• Support costing of new products, trials, and customised orders.

2. Variance Analysis

• Analyse material price, usage, yield, and mix variances.
• Analyse labour, power, fuel, and overhead absorption variances.
• Investigate root causes with production and engineering teams.
• Publish variance reports with corrective action recommendations.

3. Inventory Valuation & Control

• Support monthly inventory valuation of raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
• Reconcile physical stock with book records and investigate differences.
• Track slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Support periodic physical verification and stock audits.

4. Cost Control & Efficiency Support

• Track consumption norms, yields, and wastage against standards.
• Support cost-reduction and yield-improvement projects with data.
• Evaluate make-versus-buy and process change proposals.
• Monitor energy, consumable, and utility cost per unit.

5. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly cost reports and plant profitability statements.
• Provide cost data for pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Maintain cost dashboards for plant and corporate review.
• Support cost audit and statutory cost records maintenance.

6. Systems & Compliance

• Maintain cost master data, BOMs, and activity rates in SAP.
• Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards and policies.
• Support internal, statutory, and cost audits with schedules.
• Maintain documentation of costing methodology and assumptions.

Desired Position Qualification

• ICWA with 5 years of experience in product costing, cost accounting, or plant finance in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the Building Materials, Laminates, Plywood, MDF, Decorative Surfaces, Paints, Chemicals, or
• Manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP CO module and cost accounting standards is essential.
